Hey all,

I am doing some closer research to a small project I am trying to achieve. I need some more information though and would dearly love some assistance in some of this technical stuff.

1. Is the 3.5L ECU a ODBII compliant system?
2. Can someone tell me whether ther are bolt holes in the side of the block for say mounting the motor n-s instead of e-w??
3. What differences are there between the 6g72 from the magnas and the 6g72 from the 3000GT, apart from the power etc, I am talking casting etc...
4. can some pics be taken of the engine bay of a vehicle (all angles etc) so I can have a virtual tour of the motors themselves.
5. Can the intake manifold be reversed so as the TB etc points the opposite way on the motor?
6. What is the gearbox pattern for the bellhousing? is it the same for auto and manual bloaks, unlike the mitsu of the past in the sigmas with different width block dowels etc?
7. is the gearbox pattern the same as the TM magans blocks or different again?
8. what is the flywheel pattern (ie how many bolts holds it on) and what diameter is the flywheel? Is there a difference between the auto ring gear size and teh manual flywheel sizing.
9.Has anyone attenmpted a stroker to these motors in aust?

That will do it for now I suspect.

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Best person to ask would be Jason Semmler he used to work for Mitsubishi.http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/member.php?u=2473

Not the Aussie counterparts, the North American exports (and possibly all exports) are OBDII compliant however.
