:think: which way does everyone have there sub facing? ive got mine facing the front but looking at others there all facing the end of the car? mine is facing the front so when the centre seat is down it looks good and sounds better how much difference does it make if any?

Rear loading (facing the boot lid) will be louder as the sub can use the cavity of the boot as an enclosure. This will pronounce low end response but comes at the cost of laginess sometimes.

If you have your subs facing forward without a mini wall partitioning the entire boot you will get cancellation from the rear wave and the front wave. By rear loading these waves are more in phase.

Pretty much if you have a small box you are best off rear loading, This also increase boot rattle, so may require deadening if you have enough watts going through ur sub.

Facing into the Cabin = Less Boot rattle
Facing the rear of the car = more Boot rattle..

Both have advantages and disadvantages..
Going Free- air is an option when you want to show off your sub..
It is the least effective option butwill allow you to show off your sub and not worry about taking up any boot space..
