Sorry about the wierd paint matching, of course in real life it wont look like that.

not into any of those personally but if i had to choose i'd just add the lip...
personally colour code, ks grill, parabolics then fatten up the front bar would look awesome...just my opinion

imho i would have to say that the best way to modify a 2nd gen bar would be to just add about 2 inches into the middle of it to effectively drop the final height from the ground by about that again.. refer to my rough mspaint pic for more details.

That's kinda what the extended one is getting at. Will have to do some more photochopping my thinks :).

whats the point in blanking out ur number plates?
if anyone wants to get to ya, they jus gotta look for the only tr with a ralliart spoiler and stickers lol
If you want to create the illusion of the car being low by making a kit, get the car actually lowered before u start on anything.

this idea sounds good so chop it in half then glue it back together?
YEH JUST CHOP IT IN HALF AND GLUE IT BACK TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!! :doubt: Unfortuntately its not that easy......yur working with a bumper bar not a bit of cardboard.
Tr-envy, if yur still going with the idea of getting another front bar, cutting it in half and turning it up side down then sticking it to the bottom of yours......its gonna look absolutely ****house, thats if u can even get it to match up.....the bar is wider at the top then at the bottom......but hey...dont let me stop you, u've already got the title of most ridiculous lookin 2nd gen, so u might as well go all the way.

That's not what i'm doing anymore (though similar). I'm not just "sticking" it back together either, and i'm not doing anything without alot of physical design going into it.
Also i'd appreciate it if you kept YOUR opinions to yourself about my car, as i know a number of people who think it looks good. And at least when i get paras i wont get the cheap ****ty diamante ones.

lol it'll cost me $11 in petrol to drive to ur place and flog 'em :P.
Seriously my point is, why bag out my car just cuz you dont like it? I never said anything bad about your car and in fact complimented it.
I love my car the way it looks and that's what it's all about, representing who i am by putting my time and effort into my car.

and thats all that matters ... if your comfortable in what you are doing ... what other people are saying shouldnt matter at all. I admire you for taking the time and effort to do what most people wont.

You're dissing my car there...;)
Anyway TR Envy, not everyone is going to like your car, the same as not everyone is going to like mine. Hell mine doesnt even get a look at a cruise lol
The thing to keep in mind is that if someone bags it...you ignore it. Simple.
And to anyone else to attacks someone who doesn't like someone else's car...keep out of it. Dont perpetuate the situation, just let it go.
Oh and PS TREnvy: The Jap diamante headlights ARE KS verada multi-parabolics...The only non diamante lights are the stock ones you have now...

Sorry KB, but like i said before, my car is a representation of me, and if someone bags my car, they're bagging me, and i shouldn't have to just "take it". But i'll try my best to behave :).
Also they arn't the same, the jap ones are smaller arn't they? and they look different, i think they have a different lens?

If you're going to make a bold statement with your car then be prepared for people not liking it. If you can't hack that..then take it back to stock.
And KS Verada lights are the same as Jap diamante ones. US diamantes are the smaller ones.

Then he has the US diamantes ones then as his are the ones with the chrome surround. I'm not exactly sure what he did though to cover it up, black plastic or something maybe?
I dont mind abit of fun (like his avatar, lol that was pretty funny i thought) but what he said was just nasty, maybe you should be telling him to be abit nicer? :P.
Anyway i hope all the awkwardness is past us all now, just remember we are all hear cuz we drive/love magnas :D.
***EDIT***
Also sorry i shoulda made it clear before that i dont mind people's opinions, but he said it like it was generalisation of what everyone thought, that's why i reacted :). Mis-understanding there i believe, anyway carry on mate :).

i didnt do anything to cover it up.......

Wow... TR magna's... Look TR-Envy, some people are gonna like your car and some ain't! deal with it! If you don't like people having a go out you for driving something with mods... then go and buy stock falcon!
My personal opinion is that TR's aren't that crash hot... not in anyway... I am perplexed that people fall in love with them! The market is flooded with boring, family cars... TR's! Don't get me wrong mine gets me from A to B, but I think some people need the reality check.

Horses for courses. The market is flooded with commodores but people love them, falcons but people love them, civics, but people love them, lasers, wrx's, impreza's, supra's, skylines, I see them every day and everywhere. Does this make us wrong for liking a car when there's lots of them? Of course not. Do we need a reality check? Of course not, we all know that there's heaps of them. We've got no illusion...
I personally find most 2nd gens and 3rd gens boring looking. But I like the overall shape of the 2nd gen better. Horses for courses again. Who cares really.

hence why we "mod" our cars, to stand out from the so-common crowd
