I had a RPW TB it wasnt what you call amazing. Contact EZ Boy he can do it much cheaper $90 or so and does an excellent job.

I also had the short shift kit which was quite good, tightened up the shift a lot, good if yours is starting to get more play in it.

I have both, but haven't got around to installing the TB yet.. it's only been 6 months lol
Short shift kit is great. Can't imagine life without it.

The Short Shifter kit from RPW is good, when I had it, it increased the height but shortens the throw significantly... It's a cut and weld job and I reckon you could get it done for less as opposed to RPW's price....

I wonder if you got an early version? Mine's a good inch shorter than it was before I fitted it. Here's a photo of the short shifter kit fitted (http://www.wermspowke.net/images/short-height.jpg).. can't find the one I took stock :( anyone?

we definitely had the most positive comment about the short shifter that's for sure.
But no complaints about the TB either, some swears that it made an instant difference, some say not real obvious, so maybe it's to do with the installer, since all the ones we installed we have excellent feedback.

Just out of curiosity (and laziness for not doing a search) how much are the short shifter kits?

Short-shifter - terrific :dancin:
high-flow TB - do it. As I did this mod along with a number of others, can't isolate exactly what it contributed, but certainly the car was more responsive and required less push on the pedal. You choose which TB - either RPW or EZ-Boy. From memory, I don't think there is much of a difference in price. BTW - I installed the hi-flow TB onto the MIVEC engine so I could keep the cruise control (helps keep the licence!), so the TB is up to the task on this high performance engine.
Noting the improvements with the RPW manifold, I reckon it would be awesome to fit the dual 58mm TB onto the new manifold! :D

My customers install their own, a kid could do it honestly. The difference to the user is directly related to their expectation. Once it sinks in that it doesn't add 180kw, just improves throttle response and improves fuel economy - they start to smile and enjoy it.
Oversized and/or multiple TB's will improve the peak figures. A flowed unit adds little to peak figures but makes the car much more driveable.

$250.00 fitted from memory, but don't quote me.
Can't remember if that is with or without an exchange.
