Hi all, i am thinking about debaging my TL VR Limited Edititon. Heres what i was looking at removing:

Mitsubishi Logo from middle of the boot.
Magna logo from rear left of boot
VR from rear right of boot ( keep the limited edition underneath )
VR from rear passanger doors.

I was also thinking of adding a Genuine Ralli ARt magna badge just above the limited edition badge so that it reads Ralliart Limited Edition. Is that ricey????

Yes. I don't think it's a good idea to put any badge on a car that doesn't belong. There's plenty of people out there who won't be fooled...

hmmmmm, its a bit ricey yeh, but at LEAST you have got ralliart wheels and suspension. Im undecided, but its a damn sight better than people who put ralliart sticker/badges on stock execs

Unfortunately, I don't think most Commo or Falcon drivers could give a t*ss about whether it's got a Ralliart badge on the back or not. As soon as they see it's a Magna of any description, they automatically assume it's totally inferior to their own (bucket of bolts) cars.

And before people here say - "hey, they'll change their minds when they see how hard a Magna can go" - I'm afraid no amount of dragging them off at the traffic lights is going to change that core perception. We don't have stonking 5++ litre V8s under the hood, and Magnas don't race in Supercars, so therefore the Magna's just another piece of Jap cr*p as far as they're concerned etc etc yadda yadda.

Ask most people and they don't even know that the Magna is an Australian vehicle, and have never even heard of "Ralliart". The whole Ralliart thing might have some cache in our community, but it has almost none outside it.

Wern't mits going to enter the magna into v8supercars at one stage? i do remember talk about it.

btw, debadge it, but don't add raliart badge, unless, you intend to make it as powerful.
