I will go first ( Naturally)

Best part of my system would have to be my Subs and their enclosure
Why ???
1.My subs are rare and hard to find in Australia..
2. The enclosure I built with Care and time and looks unreal..
3, The Magnat XTC 1200's look mean and go as good as they look
4. Every person that has seen and heard my system compliments me on my Subs and their enclosure
5. The Blue neon really sets off my sub enclosure, making it stand out above all the other in my system...

My head unit, simply because its MP3 compatable and I got it for a bargain.

It is stealth.

My best part is the whole system.

Why? It's a stealthy system just as Tek's and is considerably inexpensive (thanks to the people I know :) )

dunno really... headunit is cool coz it's DVD/MP3/CD/MS all in one and its touch-screen whooo! (and looks almost factory)
front speakers are some of the clearest i've ever heard
sub amp is freekin massive! (and has cool digital display for temp, volt, amp etc)
capacitors will eventually have 8x4ga wires hanging out of the top... looks very tough :badgrin:

anyways my favourite part is the fiberglass box i just built, it's ninja turtle green and stinks the car out with resin.

My deck, alpine 9835 - full control over 3 way crossover, slopes, speaker delays, 6 channel equaliser, lets me make it sound how I like :) retails for 1300 got it for 400 cause the guy buggered up the invoice and wrote 9835 instead of 9825 :bowrofl:

Nah nah, most people in the know on car audio would have heard of them, "Earthquake", but if I went to JB Hifi and asked every customer who was looking at products there, none of em would have heard of them, or Audison for that matter. Polk Momo even, Morel, hell, I doubt they'd have even heard of Hertz. Concept too, good subs the Concepts.

Brand-wise many just stick to the usual brands like Sony, Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine, etc. But brands which many haven't heard of are starting to break into the market such as Morel, Dynaudio, Focal, Audison, Hertz, Image Dynamics, Earthquake, Eton, Adire, RE, Digital Designs, etc (list goes on!). I just think car audio has really boomed in these last few years and now these brands are getting alot more common (and recognised).

But my rule of thumb is:-
SQ - Stick to euro brands
SPL - Stick to US brands

Don't be like that, mixing and matching ensure you have the best of both worlds. Plus if its a decent company it wouldn't matter where they are located, as long as they put the money in the design and not the advertising

hahaha, reminds me. I was contemplating whether to get 0 gauge cable at JB hifi. The dude asked me what I was running so far.

I would have to say active front stage has given me most control... But the Morels would add the most realism by far.

Rofl I dont think you would buy high qualuty euro brand splits for SPL use or digital processors etc!!! :badgrin: Rule of thumb more aimed at subs & sub amps. And you're right nothing wrong with a bit of balance - hell I was running 2 x DD 9510s off an EQ D5 for SPL, but used Dyns 240GT off an Audison VRX 2.250 for the front stage (yummy SQ)! :)

What is the best part of my system? That is easy to answer; the sound. :)

Best bit of mine is that is all works, all day everyday. But now my new toy, a Boston G5 is the new favourite as I get used to its big rumbles lol Thanks Marty :D

Originally I had a Full Magnat System, Everything but the Deck was Magnat, a Nice 6 channel Magnat Combat 6000 ( it was as Big as a Coffee table) Magnat Xtract 3-way 6x9's and Magnat Xtract 6.5 inch Splits and the Two Subs I have now,
All installed ina a 1987 LD Holden Astra Sedan , People could never remember my Name when I went Crusing, but would always remembered the Sound of my system so I got called Magnat , after the Gear in my ride, which always impressed all who saw and heard it... So the name has stuck...

Sadly when I sold my Astra, I sold it with Everything in it..
Now the place where I could get my Magnat Gear Sold up and left me high and Dry...

JB Sell Polk/Momo. I would have to say though that the Europeans are my kind of speakers, but goddamn those Americans make musclebound amps :D. I find it amusing when people buy everything from the one brand as IMHO there is no one brand that makes the best of everything.

Heh, I run JL Audio for speakers, Panasonic Headunit, Earthquake amp and sub, with a Performance Audio 1 Farad Capacitor.

yours 400CCA has 28ah
my big one is 600CCA 42ah
little one 245CCA 16ah
