well .. holidays are now here and i am looking for something practical to do .. so i thought if i could anything to my car. I dont wanna do anything costly such as rims and what not .. couple of ideas ive been thinkin about was like debadging, removing mud guards and so on .
i was wandering about removing the mud guards, as i heard it makes it look a little better, had anyone done this and got pics of their car ? and would ya be able to guide me through the process of it (im a bit of a noob, but willing to learn)
also ... most of us with 2nd Gens have been unfortunate enough to have a car with the ugly, sun-beaten grey bumpers. Is there a way to improve this ?
thnx for the input ...
btw, my TR can be seen here (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14244)

get multiple layers of the old armorall onto your bumpers to get them black again.. just layer after layer untill it starts coming back. Or you could see if a wreckers have some white painted bumpers off a write off.
As for the mudflaps, really easy dude just undo the screws.. have a go at it even a n00b will work it out

yer go for the mudflaps off /de- bage make it look clean.or u could colour coded the mudflaps to the car want stick out as much.
maybe colour coded the front grill will make a good difference and want cost much at all. take the rear sun visor thing off.
best thing to do is do a search on here and google/cardomain and find some pictures of 2nd gen to give u ideas.
clear side indicators
and colour coded the front/rear bars mirrors etc will make a difference but will cost roundish $300 ( that would make a hell of a difference)

goddam i hate non body coloured bumpers. My last car, a pintara had them and i had always been meaning to get them professionally painted but never got around to it. I sold it to a mate and he has since had them painted red like the rest of the car and it looks SO much better.
so i suggest save up and get your bumper professionally painted.
