I was wondering where i could find some aftermarket gear shifts knobs for a automatic.
I found one but its in amercia
a birdy told me the replacment buttons cost $5 from mitsu.. :D that would be rather reclkless spending over $100 for an entirley new stick.. wouldnt it now.. huh.. HUH!
edit* get one of these.. theyre cheap.. they look good too... im sure a person has one installed in AMC...

Did your button break did it? When mine first did it scared the **** out of me as it went flying past my head and onto the back seat somewhere. Over time though I've become used to it and now it only comes out when I do it on purpose :)
i told him if he keeps playing with it, its going to fall off lol

There has to be a mod you can do to keep the button pushed down so you can mount a Manual one in the same place ??

If you want something classy, i put one of these on my TS(I'll dig up some pics of it on), unfortunately not long before I sold it as they aren't cheap. I got the black leather one.

Did anyone put the boot around the shift stick (like in manual) in their auto magna. I am thinking about that but I am not sure how it would look. Pics anybody?

Nothing, the inhibitor switch will not allow the autotrans to shift.

It would look a bit weird driving around in a car with a Manual boot looking llike the car is in neutral..

Ha,ha that is so true. I have been driving manual cars for ten years before I purchased my TJ so I would get the urge all the time to shift gears.
I would try to push the stick to left and up into first. :bowrofl:

I got mine at the Summernats at the start of the year, $160, they were about $200 everywhere else, that is if they could get one anyway. Not sure who the MOMO dealers are in Vic.

Auto gearknobs are few and far between, theres basically the momo that are about $240+ and then autotechnica make one for about $30-$40, and its a carbon fibre/chrome style. Have a look at one but as far as styles go theres not many!!!
Verada, cause the magna couldnt cut it!!
