I would be making sure the two bolts on your calipers are tights.. Sounds like one is loose.. :D

No noise whilst im driving...

Only makes noise when im in a car park and i press the accelerator hard then quickly press the brakes..

clunking noise sounds like the suspension but I could be wrong..

make sense?

calipers <- Can you explain in more detail so tommorow I can have a look at these.

Is it making the noise when changing direction from reverse to forward or vice versa? Pads move slightly in the calapers and when you have been going forward then go backwards and use brakes they make a small click/clunk noise when moving. And also from going backward to forward. Does this sound like it?

I think Familywagon might be right, although in my case it was more of a 'clank' than a 'clunk'! At slow speeds, braking, especially when changing from drive to reverse or back. Mitsu kept looking at it, changed the engine mounts under warranty and other things...eventually they told me it was pads moving in calipers! They said that there was no way of stopping it and it doesn't do any harm so I don't let it bug me.
