As eek has just finnished his instrument cluster and i loved it I figgered i would give it a go. So here are some pictures at different stages

This First one is basically scaring the crap out of me, was hopin to hell it all went back in smoothly. (i recon my car looks naked lol )

So after this point i start with the endless coats of primer, then the painting starts :D

After this point i was very happy with the result, so to celebrate i took my car for a 240kmh+ on my floor :bowrofl:

Looks great. What type of paint did you use and how many coats did you do? Did you prep it with a clear primer?

Just this stuff they had at bunnings, cost about 7 buck a can, applyed about 4-5 coats (cant quite remember) of paint, and 4 coats of cleam primer.
Just leave it to dry for about 15 mins between each coat, then waited 1.5 hours before applying the paint.
The only thing that really takes the time is the drying, and tape'in up the bits you don't want paint on
