My husband and I just recently rebuilt the V6 in our TR Magna. The motor is back in the car and runs perfectly, problem was we had no drive. Turned out the Oil pump was stuffed, so we took it to Fluid Drive and got that fixed. We spent yesterday putting the Auto back in the car but when we started it up there was noise coming from the torque converter? and the Auto locked itself in park. Any suggestions on what could be wrong??

I think I would be taking the trans back again to the trans place. The park is a mechancal thing not hydrolic so when changing the shifer, provided it is installed correctly the trans should at least release the park.
