Hi all

Im going to remove my spoiler soon, does anyone have any tips?

Actually... can anyone tell me how to do it?? :P
hehe.

I will plug the holes up initially, does anyone know what size plugs i will need to find?

There is 4 screws.. Not hard but the double sided tape is strong.. U will be left with 5 holes of 3 differant sizes.. Not sure what size they are but repco have the plugs for a few dollars a pack.. will cost you anout $10-12 by the time you get the three sizes..

make sure you buy some paint sealer and brush it on around the holes as you dont want water getting on the edges and causing rust.

When i took mine off the holes where painted.. Looks like they make the holes then paint the boot.. was odd.. :D

U shouldnt have problems with rust there.. Just make sure the plugs are real tight fit.. :D

i tried getting my sports spoiler off .............. i got 2 on each side off plus the centre one but the seems to be 2 riiight up the top that i cant get to :( ... ohwell i plan on just buying a new bootlid anyways

silicon is fine.

Check the holes first i guess.. EGO's were fine, a few ive seen where chipped around the edges..

best bet is to swap with some1 that wants a spoiler, and has the same color car !

Certainly not a simple job, but not a complicated one either. 1) you have a boot lid with no holes in it. 2) someone without a spoiler is happy because now they have one that is attached and they didn't have to pay for it!

Havent done it yet, probably a saturday/sunday jobby
