Im after tyres to fit 19" wheels, for the fitment of tyres to be legal I need them with a load rating of 95.

What 19" tyres is everyone using and do they meet the load rating figure of 95.

Should I just go with 18"s?

Cheers

Good luck, chances are you will struggle. We struggle for 17's.

p.s. your wheel selection probably won't be legal therefore insurable.

I was looking at 19" rims the other week to fit my car. Now this sounds very dodgy, but the guy in Albion (company name with held) said that he does wheel and tyre packages for mits's all the time and all he does is get a new sticker to go over the top?!?!
Sounds dodgy, but if your worried about getting pulled over, it might be something you want to look into.
If your looking at it from a safety persective, disregard this post, it's evil! :naughty: :naughty:

do you mean a new tyre placard? but that only covers wheel size, not load rating

Actually, it doesn't cover anything. It is dodgy. Insurance won't care what's stuck on your car. If they want to get out of a claim and believe it's possible through your wheel / tyre combination, they'd go on factory specs.
