Well I bought a pioneer hu yesterday. (Last day of end of financial year sales, so i thought i better). Anyway, for mounting it, Im not quite sure whether to use this frame thing that comes with it, as there is only 2 clips holding the hu to the frame, so would make it rather easy to steal, so I was thinking maybe I should just mount the main hu to the car, and not bother with the frame that came with it

Is there a bracket holding the other headunit in? One that moutns to the chassis?

If so, mount it to that. The bolts should line up.

Yep, there is, so Ill mount it to that. I wonder how many ppl have mounted their pioneer hu's with the little bracket that it comes with, and how many of those ppl have had their hu stolen...
