Okay, this poll is for people who have had an EMS fitted and tuned to their car. If you fit into other, please specify. Feel free to post your gains and experiences. It's not for idle chit chat.

Had a unichip fitted to my old auto TF 3.0
The engine modifications before the Unichip where 2.5" pressbent catback exhuast with generic Lukey muffler and a K&N Panel Filter. This combination produced 97kW-ATW @5600rpm wheels on Electonic Automotives dyno in Melbourne.
The fittment of the unichip tuned for 98ron fuel saw that figure rise to 109kW-ATW also @5600rpm. Thats a 12kW gain ATW with a minimum of 4-5kW increas at low to mid revs and after midway it slowlly increased to reach the 12kW peak increase.
Price when done $1200 tuned and installed.
Fuel consumption was slightlly better during normal driving, but increased when driving spiritedlly :D
Now waiting to save up some cash on the side to get it installed and re-tuned in my Manual TF 3.0, with has the same exhuast but with mandrel bends, and CAI added to intake :P

Hi all,
fitted a Motec M48 clubman with ignition expander, for the MIVEC motor with sequential ignition. A full aftermarket ECU. Pls see my threads on the MIVEC conversion, for more info on the Motec. Also motec website - http://www.motec.com.au/m48.htm

I chose other because I have a sh*tbox Link ECU. Dont get a Link unless it is the most expensive one you can buy.
I am changing to a microtech. I can get one at a good price and tuning is easy.

Err...I suppose this doesn't count because it's my commodore, but I converted from the analog VK efi I had in my VH Commodore to use the laptop-realtime-programmable kalmaker version of the VN delco computer.
The wiring harness (a cut and modified camira harness) and sensors were not hard to sort out. You probably wouldn't do a kalmaker convert to a 3rd gen Magna (too much other stuff relying on factory computer), but a 1st gen or maybe a manual 2nd gen could take this system.
Cheers,
Dave

Had a unichip on my old TE manual. With extractors, intake/pod, exhaust, t/b, It picked up from 119kW to 132kW so not a bad increase, car had better midrange and revved out better. Havent fitted it to my AWD yet as I am waiting for extractors and possibly intake manifold. If I didnt have unichip already I would probably get Haltech piggyback for the flexibility of different maps.

Figured I'd better say something in my own thread.
Haltech Interceptor. Good result and no issues with it aside from a dodgy injector. Haven't had a chance to look at the software yet.
