I have a 4 channel amp that is bridgable but i only have 2 rca's coming from the deck.
Would it work if i connect the rca's to the 1ch and the 4ch ? would the mono outputs still be bridged ?
EDIT: I forgot to upload my 1337 mspaint pic.
no it wouldnt work....well i dont hink so anyway....u'll have to get some RCA splitters, which split 1 rca into 2......this is how i've done mine, then simply bridge it from the speaker outputs.

I have heard that this isnt safe to do but when you think about it, it shouldnt cause a problem because the rca's arent amplified but i could be wrong
If thats all i have to do, then im set.
BTW guys, i whent into JB hifi and bought a kick ass amp kit for $70. If my digi cam had batteries i would take a pic the cables look so awsome :D

Thats a load of Mumbo Jumbo..
No deck except for Nakamitchi come out with Dual Sub out, so how the heck do you think you get a 4 channel sub Bridged without using RCA splitters?? ( Sure you could use High input, but we don't want to do that )
RCA splitters will not damage or cause any harm to your AMP or system at all.. All they do is split the signal, thats it.
WHat you will have to do if you want a Stereo Sub system is sort out which one is left and which one is right and sort it out that way.. making sure channels 1 and Two have the correct RCA lead leading into them and 3 and 4 have the correct one leading into them..

Thanks for clearing that up for me :)
BTW, what do you think of the high output to low output convertors ? After i conect the rca's to this amp, i dont have anymore for my other amp thats going to power my 6x9's and i dont really want to connect them with the high output.

I have used them before and saw no side effects except they only invert High output to around 2Volts, which is kind of poor for a clear signal and they were awkard to hide out of the way neatly.. they tend to be a bit bulky..
