I have just spent $1500.00 on getting my car serviced and the garage came back with a stack of fixes that needed to be done, which we did,not that we noticed any problems with the car but thought it needed a service. So after fitting new tyres, a water pumpnew belts,,all new pipes in the engine i drove the car the other day and found it had no gutes so i get the RACQ to come and have a look at it and they tell me it probably is the timing chain, and i was wondering if anybody had any idea what would this cost me to get fixed. you can change it without taking the engine out, i have. your looking at $150-200 for the kit from bursons, and a good weekend if you do it yourself, or aorund $500 or so for a mechanics labour
