You can call into your local Mitsubishi dealer, and show them that you do infact own the vehicle, and they can look up the pin code for you, I think they charge around $10 or something.

a Mitsubushi dealer will need the V.I.N number from your car. If the radio was factory fitted you can get the code number. IS there a 4 digit number written somewhere in the owners manual? this is probably the radio code.

That's the problem. I don't have any papers. I bought that car 2 days ago.
Now I have different problem. When was driving back home I stop on a petrol station. After that headlights stoped working. I don't know what's happend - maybe fuse but I don't know even where they are.
Once more sorry of my language but I'm in Australia only 9 months. I'm overseas student from Poland and early next year I'll back to my country but I need a car so I bought that Verada.
Maybe someone know where I can buy fuses? Which fuse is for headlights?
Best Regards

Heh, your english is probably better than mine at times. I'm not sure how I can help you on the headlights; however, the radio problem is solvable in a number of different ways.
Tomorrow go to your local mitsubishi dealer, and see if they can work out something for you. If they're unable to, head over to your local car stereo place and just purchase a cheap nice headunit (only has to be cheap because you're only over here for a bit longer).

take your rego papers to your local Mitsubishi dealer and they should be able to give you the code and will charge around $10.
Before I moved into parts and was in Service I used to do this for people at least once a week, And have got very good at entering them lol.

Thanks for help guys. The radio is oryginal so I hope they gonna fix it in Mitsubishi service. The nearest one that I found is in Maroubra(?) - I live in Bondi Beach.
Maybe someone know how to fix headlamps? I'm really iritated of this situation:-/

Bart Welcome.. Sorry your Verada has spoiled your Visit, Fuses can be bought at any Auto parts store.. Check your fuse box located on the Drivers side of the car underneath the dashboard, there is also one in the engine bay located near the Battery.. I do hope this is just a fuse problem or else it will be time for new light globes and they can cost a fair bit..
But yes to decode the Stereo it will require you to visit a Mitsubishi Dealer and fork out some money, ours cost $25...
Very smart Idea joining AMC, there are plenty of us and all willing to help where we can..
Your English is fine, your spelling is still well within tolerable limits..
I don't understand what's happend - Am I  ?:]
Few minutes ago I went to my car and headlights works properly!
Mitsubishi - funny cars:]
I have so many question but I'm not sure that I can put them in a car radio topic.
I need front bumper because main is cracked, braked etc. Car looks awfull with that bumper so I want change it. If somene have phone number to wrecker or know places where I can buy used one I'll very appreciate.
Thanks for help:]
God Bless You Guys :D

If you have a few questions at once make a thread in the tech torque section and list them. Please use as much details about the symptoms as you can as it increases the acuracy of our answers.

I spoke to my local mitsu service manager about stereo security codes today.
I was told that if the radio is the original factory fitted unit then the code can be sourced for free using just the VIN number and proof of ownership.
If the stereo is a mitsubishi unit but not the factory fitted one then the code can still be sourced with proof of ownership and $27.
You will need to remove the radio and get the following numbers from the stereo case 1.the stereo serial number, 2.the stereo model number, 3.the stereo's mitsubishi part number
In your car the headlights are only supposed to turn on to low beam when the key is turned on. If the key is off then only the park lights should work.
If this was the problem, then it's not a problem :D

I think what's happened is that you've been locked out of attempting to input your PIN for the radio unit. I think you're supposed to wait 24 hours and try again, it should work fine after that.

Yes, that's true - I inpute wronge PIN number 3 times but it was in last week.
In mitsubishi service told me that I have to leave the key on inigniation position for 1 hour then radio should be ok - ready for PIN. I'll do it tomorrow.
Maybe you have idea what's wrong with headlights? I checked once more and they need around 7-9 minutes to switch again
