Thinking of the following items to use in my setup when i get around to upgrading it
Kicker KX75.2 Amp (For Splits)
Kicker KS6.2 Splits - Front Door Splits
Kicker KS693 3 Way 6x9 Rear Deck Speakers OR Kenwood 6x9s


Any suggestions on the above setup welcomed
Any recommendations also welcomed

Don't really like any of it to be honest with you. Forget about the 6x9s until you've purchased a great set of splits. You're the driver, you hear the speakers up the front. If you were planning on buying a subwoofer later, than you're probably better off with just 6" speakers in the rear. For the splits though, check out Hertz Hi-Energy series (I know I mention them a lot, but they really are great quality.) Morel if you've got the extra cash. In terms of amplifiers, check out Audison. They make fantastic amplifiers.

Dont Get Kenwood , go kicker all the way... Sounds like a great install.
You can then add to this setup later by adding a Kicker 4 channel amp and Kicker Solobaric sub when ready..

Im running those exact speakers in my car off the JVC 4x50 head unit. Im quite happy, The sound distorts before the music gets to what i would define "loud" but i like my music "loud" thats probably the head unit tho.

yeh, thats coz the LOUD function is the work of the devil...made for evil ricerboy fools that think LOUD magicallly makes their headunit into a 3kwrms amp and drive around with reversed baseball caps, with their 4" doof doof.

Put as much into finding some good splits as possible. This will be the determinant of how your system sounds. You can have a $10k amp and headunit that will still sound like ass through crap speakers.

Try and have a listen to...

Boston fs60 $350rrp -good all rounder
Morel Pulse $327rrp - Musical, but cant take a beating
Hertz HSK - $363rrp Can take a thrashing but not as musical.

Although prob way outta ur price range
listen to some Dynaudio's and higher end morels.

The loud button is to compensate for lack of Bass at low volume...I would be lost without mine, my last deck had a 7 band EQ and no loud button and sounded bad even feeding a 6x100 W Rms amp.. I need loud to go loud... it is only a pointless function if you use it at high volume as it distorts the signal

Not everyone can afford Premuim speakers upfront... I say stick with Kicker, they are better then Kenwood and Pioneer, their Build Quality and Bass ability is equal to most higher spec brands..

If The intention is to replace Stock Speakers then they will provide and excellent upgrade..

Remember not all Magna Owners want an SQ system in their ride, just an improvement over stock ...

I say stick with your proposed Kicker set up and you will not be dissapointed..
Only Problem that is likely possable is the Magnet of the 6x9's hitting the Boot Strut bar.. Other then that I cannot see a problem.. Check your rear Mounting depth against the Kicker Speaker specs you have chosen..

those kicker splits definately do the job! :) they're very nice sounding indeed cant complain :) they can hold the bass nice and take a thrashing :P

What we are here for. Feel like I have to go around and undo all the bad advice here half the time ;) :P

What people do with that advice is up to them. But Money spent on crap may as well not be spent at all if they are going to upgrade again the next month.

No i dont use the loud function. I dont crank it too much in the city but when im highway rolling i really like to crank it and the music does turn to garbage before it is what i would define as "loud" but as i said, my fersion of loud is pretty damn high.

hey man yeah i got those same splits on my car and also 2 solobaric 12" and they hammer so good there so awesome ive been to so many sound offs and always come first and second in class b the splits are worth the money there not as expensive as other splits. kicker is the way to go the new kicker stuff are so under rated.
