The ugliness of my wheel amazes me. this must be dealt with. How ever i want to keep the interior looking nice so i dont want some ricey racing wheel..but i love the look of the steering wheels in the 3rd gen magnas. is it possible to put a 3rd gen wheel in a 2nd gen? if so how hard would it be to do this?

I'm in the same boat as you sidewinder and the info i have obtained so far is:
A 3rd gen steering wheel will bolt onto a 2nd gen, however...
For the horn to be able to work you need to get an indicator switch from an SE or ELITE (they must be different or something? :confused: ).
Will hopefully get this done soon, just gotta get my arse into gear and call a wreckers :P.

odd...i wouldve thought u could just wire up the existing horn switch on the new wheel?

Yeh but i think there's something to do with getting the wire to the actual horn button. Like there's no where for it to get through unless you get the SE switch, ask madmagna he explained it to me, i'm gonna ring up a place next week and try and obtain one.

hmm ok..are there any aftermarket wheels in that sort of style/shape? i dont like the momo look of flat aluminium everything, i want a wheel with a bit of thickness to it in the middle
