hey all I wanna know the specs of a AUTO - 5-spd man. conversion
for a 1997 onwards;

Is it a prick of a job ?
Are the parts hard to find ?
How much $$ am i looking at ?

Is it a prick of a job ? not really, as long as u know what you're doing! (basically, take out old trans, put in new one, along with clutch lines and replace shifter cable. most annoying parts is replacing ECU and BEM and wiring harness behind stereo etc.)
Are the parts hard to find ? theres actually some for sale on the forums as we speak :D
How much $$ am i looking at ? of course, being the 1st, mine was REAL expensive, and i got mostly brand new parts aswell... could easily be done for a bout $2000-$3000 i reckon

Don't you need to replace the door locks etc because of the intergrated alarm- incoded factory keys etc??

nah, if u get a new ECU and BEM, u can get new blank keys ordered that are cut to your locks, but get coded to the new ECU and BEM, would be much more of a hassle otherwise!
