Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anybody knows if a TL VRX with leather (Factory fitted) would have:
Real Leather Seats & Leather "look" Trim
or Real Leather all through??
I would hate to start treating leather look vinyl with leather conditioner.... I am sure it wouldn't do it any good at all.

I think you will find that the back of the seats, headrests (front and back if fitted), centre console armrest and inside of the rear armrest and trim on the door are all likely not to be real leather but imitation. You can idetify the real from the fake as the fake has very even grain (if you know what i mean) it also feels different and has more 'gloss'.
I got leather conditioner/cleaner on mine and it hasnt harmed it. I really dont think it would do any damage, it just doesn't absorb the same as leather (if at all). The stuff you use for leather is very gentle in anycase. If it was to damage your imitation parts then thats the least of your worries because its a fair bet it will stuff your leather.

considering your paying for leather.. i would be very surprised if it wasnt REAL leather.. although i wouldnt be surprised if it was low quality leather

Well it feels like real lether in my kh verada, fells exactly the same as the leather in my bosses Jaguar and i don't think they would use immitation leather.

I have just re read my post and it reads as if i think there is no leather at all. The only REAL factory leather is where your backside goes and the front of your backrest (wrapping over towards the back seat) stopping at the pocket (and i'm prety sure you can tell this by looking at the fake stuff from the inside of the pocket. If you have a leather steering wheel...obviously this is real leather.
The stuff on the doors, headrests and armrests is definatley not real leather.

I have a KJ 2 GTVi, did it occur to you that you may have just though it was real leather?....since you were, im assuming, only looking at the vehicle for a brief moment.
