hey all just got me a 91 tr magna for $300 it had a few problems like the auto was stuck in 3rd gear so i got me a computer that fixed that problem i all so put a new set of timing chains and gears and guides in to it ... the 1st time i drove it with the old chains in it the oil light flickered on ond off .so ive replaced all chains guides ect and the oil light sender..but still the iol light comes on and off the funny thing is i drove 50km the light never came on i drove another 50km back home the light came on and off all the time it doesnt matter if i rev the motor or if its at idle it still flicks on and off? ....any ideas ......the motor is quiet at idlr right up till about 3000rpm then i hear bit of a knock rev it to 4000rpm noise goes away ???? :cry:

is it....umm turning round corners or just sorta all the time, id say its not faulty somehing must b stopping it from getting the oil that it needs. mayb need a thinner grade oil..

is there crap in the sump blocking the pickup?

lol found problem sump has had hit = pickup dammaged = crap sucked in to pickup = no oil pressure = new conrod bearings hmm repaired today all fixed runs like a beauty
