Dee finally worked out how to get to my place.. so we spent the morning tinting our tail lights.. and we debadged Dee's car too while we were waiting for the coats to dry... I think they need the gloss coat on top.. but will leave it to dry fully before we go n spray clear coat everywhere..

Oh and it always helps to put the wiring plug back in when your testing if your lights work *looxit Dee*

Nightshades :D Spray on tinting stuff available from Autobahn, supercheap, etc..

I think in the end it was about 6? we took them off one last time and did one more at the end hehe..

They were light coats tho..

Tinted tail lights are illegal.
But you dont necessarily need to do them that dark but once u get started into tinting them you just cant stop lol

its been what, nearly 3 hours now? Thats plenty of time!

Did 5 layers of Nite shades and let it dry.. put them back on the car and will see what i think tomorrow weather it needs more layers or not..

Oh yeah.. ****ed the side blinkers as we clear coated them before the nite shades had dried properly.. :nuts:

Brakes can be seen easily through the tint.. and I have another brake light.. ego's was on his spoiler which aint there anymore...

Tanya you need to give pictures to dee, She can get lost easily. She got lost last time when she was going home from my house and it was the simplest directions and she made a boob out of it :bowrofl: she might need one of those voice actived ones that tell you when to turn :bowrofl:

You have to hit them with some polish, autosol to get them smooth then some goldclass polish to bring up the shine, they'll look factory!

Its not that dark.. Dee and I did about 7 I think.. Light still shines through fine, and reflector still works :D

Im going to do another coat on mine.. proberly wont get a chance till sunday arvo or monday.. :D

i did 9 coats and mine aint that dark, just in that pic they do lol, depends how thick ur coats are :P

I didnt put a clear coat on.... :confused: might buy some more nite shades and add a few more coats and clear it then wax it :D i also did my front indicators aswell dont do your headlamps or headlamp protectors cant see at nite. :nuts: :cool:

I'll be honest, i'm not a fan of it against the green mysti, no offence just does not go with the colour, looks good on dee's though, still you both did a good job
