The drivers seat in my TL Magna rocks back and foward about 1 - 2cm when I break. Anyone else had this problem?

Is it a warranty issue?

Thanks Again!!!!!

HAYY yep a common problem and a costly warranty job. I had mine replaced and just the parts came to 1200 I LOVE warranty. No rocking now. Apparently some fault in manufacture. Get it replaced it gets annoying.

cup holder cover wont stay clipped down (Apparently this is common). The seat pocket staples are comming away (Apparently common too).

Mine rocks a little, apparantley they had a recall/service but it didnt seem to do much. Will enquire on next service, also get my right front shock replaced it makes a noise like a loose piece of metal bouncing. ALready had the left replaced under warranty.

Common problem on electric seats.
Mitsubishi have a cheap and quick fix. My KL GTVi verada was repaired under warranty. Took 15 minutes and was sucessful. Mounting brackets on threaded rods under seat have small amount of play. Dealer placed another washer in each mount. Fixed!!!!
All dealers know of the problem but will only repair if you ask as it is not a safety issue and therefore subject to a recall.

did it just happen to the TL series magnas?

Ive had my KJ verada xi for just under 3 weeks and the front seats are rocking like that and creaking and squeaking and its driving me absolutely insane. The dealer didnt seem surprised but has tried to blame me for it even tho it has done it since I picked the car up. I have a 3 year warranty, so its booked in for wednesday to be fixed, along with the harsh shifting transmission.

why bring it to the dealer when it is a literally 2 minute job yourself . put your hand on the nut on the nut and check to see if its loose. you really dont have to be lazy
