Thanks guys for your help. I found the problem, turns out the module in the dizzy was on it's way out. Being linked to the computer, it was sending a wrong message and stuffing up the electrics that operate the idling circuit. This was all found with a $50 digital multimeter and a gregorys workshop manual.

kewl glad to hear it, interesting you should say that, because I was having an interesting discussion with my mechanic on that very topic, he said he's never seen the module do anything funny, either works or doesnt.
Now I have a prime example to give him.
