lol lol lol
none....the egr valve lets the exhaust gasses back into the manifold to cool down the combustion chamber. Your exhaust gasses dont contain oxygen which means it wont burn, so by putting back through the combustion chamber it just cools it down.
maybe keep all the questions in 1 thread mate ;)
but keep em comin lol

Not so. The purpose of EGR is to give the engine a second chance at burning off the polutants in the exhaust gasses. The lack of oxygen is irrelevant, once it mixes with fresh fuel/air mix in the combustion chamber.

very good it also works on cruse

hmmm seems i wasnt wrong about cooling the combustion chamber :P

Nah I'm with zaphod and against that info sheet, the EGR will never cool combustion as while it has a lower content of oxygen it's already been heated beyond 500 celcius by it's previous efforts at combustion and will warm your intake air, EGR is a horrible, horrible process designed purely for emissions tests in brand new cars, in cars a few years old it actually worsens the emissions of a car as it carbons up the combustion chamber and intake manifold.
EGR will cycle on at part throttle and cycle off on full throttle, the ecu cycle corresponding to this is called closed and open loop, it's a combination of engine revs, throttle position and mostly vacuum. The only reason EGR still actually turns off is emissions tests havent gone as far as to test WOT emissions yet, give it time and EGR will be permanent and I rue the day

I'm sure I read that the new 6G75 destined for the 380 doesn't include an EGR circuit? If so, then yay.

The recirculated exhaust gas doesn't cool the cylinder directly, but by being there it causes the fuel to burn more cooly, thus reducing nitrous oxide emission. To answer the question, in the Magna 3.5L EGR only comes on during light/part throttle condition. Not at idle and not at wide throttle openings. The 3.0L does not have EGR, and the new 3.8L will not have it either because it has reduced emissions anyway and EGR is not required.
4 cycle engine--- suck, squeeze, bang, blow!!!
