Right guys, need your help..

I need to know if anyone has dumped the oil in there 3rd Gen tranmition.. If so how and is there any tips/hints or tricks i need to know..??

oil changes are illegal....just ask magnus. Take it to your mechanic...... :bowrofl:

you can do a drain and refill but that doesnt change all the oil you will still have a few liters in the converter

use a flushing machine which cost u about $180 to do it runs up to 15 liters of new fluid through it . gets all the fluid nice and red again

So you finally realised you couldnt drive manual and converted it to a manual ??

So what drain the fliud and just top it back up.. No tricks to it, no fancy things i need to know.. Has anyone actually done a fluid change on the there car themselves..??? :D

yeah dude its easy. Drain it. Fill it slowly through dipstick tube and then run the car around about 5km trip to get the auto nice and warm and then leave the car in neutral and check the auto level with the car running. Adjust the level with the car running in N

the 2nd way is to take off a cooler hose and run oil out of auto while motor running while putting oil back in to the dip stick tube gets old oil out of convertor

Please post how easy this was as i might save myself the $100 and do it myself next time.
