I've seen a couple of posts on the GTV seering wheel, and, from memory it was about 1k from mitsu? But what I wanted to know, was that 1k for the whole steering wheel, liek including the cool airbag n stuff, or was that jsut for the outer ring? (the wheel part :P ) And could you buy just the outer woodgrain part, and fit it to a standard verada steering wheel?

If u wanted a GTV steering wheel you would have to buy the whole thing, airbag (this is where the bulk of the price lays, airbags cost **** loads) and all.
I doubt you could just "put on" the wood grain to a verada wheel. 1, where's it gonna clip onto and 2, pretty sure GTV steering wheel design different to standard verada one.

the GTVi one is different shape and the 4 spokes dont go into the middle at the same angle as the standard verada wheels... im pretty sure the price of 1k is for the whole lot, and it is a different airbag module in then aswell... (well so i was told when i enquired about one), cant just buy the woodgrain one, well u might be able to if you already had that wheel...

If you have a Airbag mate, just remember it's against the law to remove it and put in a steering wheel without one  So yeah, just elighting ya :)
But then again, so's my Pod air filter

The steering wheel fitted to the GTV and the GTVi is a 'Nardi Torino' brand wheel manufactured in Italy (but stocked in Japan). The cost of the wheel is around the $900ish mark (as previously stated) plus fitting. This price is just the wheel and back part where the front cover meets the back part (and not the airbag module, as has been thought). The cover in the middle is totally different and i believe the airbag module (and obviously the cover) is in the vicinity of around $3000 to replace. You can not purchase the woodgrain parts only.
I know this because i have recently had mine wheel replaced by a large tyre retailer (who i wont name) as they stupidly fitted a bracket to the wheel during a wheel allingment and took a chip out of the resin finish on the woodgrain. After much ranting and raving (and research) they agreed to have the wheel replaced. I had inquired as to the cost and 'ins and outs' to quote to the company's customer service.
