ok, so i now have another dash guage cluster, 310 this 1 is, and once again i have those lovely lil gear selction lights, P-R-N-d etc.
now, upon knowing half the guage didnt work, i have dismantled it and rbuilding, i want to put in LEDs into the gear select board, shich would mean soldering, i'm just wondering, has anyone soldered in LEDs and if so, did they work, becoz of the power draw an LED takes compared to those miniature globes.

power draw is less you need to make sure you get the polarity right + - or they wont work

polarity is fine, i work with leds, just wanted to make sure i wasnt going to a get to dull a light or B blow it up lol

umm, LEDs are also 12volt, lol and the lil board, tho extremely basic a design, already has the resistors.

not all leds are 12v infact near all arnt
but much sure they can handle up to 15v not just 12...

well, all the ones i deal with are 12v, so i have no probs.

so has ya done it yet mate, get some piccys im keen on doin this to mine

have yet to attain the LED's, i think im just gonna give it to my friend.
