hi

i was in my parents TE magna yesterday and i noticed that when i started it revved higher than my TH and TJ magna is that normal. And and is making a ch ch ch sound in the pullyies i did a video of it stating and the sound in the engine. oh yeah i did a nother video of TE magna starting when its cold and when i rev it it just dosent wont to rev like it does when its hot do you guys expirience this when its cold.

maybe check the air con compressor? my old TF had a similar noise which turned out to be the front bearing in the compressor clutch was noisy as.... and the idler pulley was stuffed (not bad considering it had 350000 on the clock.... certainly was worn tho)

When its cold it can run rough if you tap the accelerator, must be an automatic choke, If I rev it in neutral gently or "tap" the accelerator, it can run rough just after ya do it and a mate noticed a puff of black smoke came out from the exhaust indicating over-fueling.. so now I let the car warm up a bit more and drive it gently. So it's best not to start the car using the accelerator at all and not to rev it in neutral wherever possible. Too much of this will build up carbon everywhere.
