hI guys and gals
The warrenty on my Magna TJ runs out next month what MUST i get looked at and fixed before it runs out?

front and rear windscreens tend to rattle and the seals go crappy and the fuel line one... thats the only two i know of mate

Book in with your dealer for an end of warranty check over.

they will inspect the car for any issues and get them fixed before it runs out.

We get quite a few people that do this and is worth it.

Power windows ... make sure yours has the revised parts installed!

My parents had there's go twice, once under warranty the second time not.

Mate i know NRMA does a car inspection, my parents got there 97 camry done and the guy found a million and one things wrong, only small things you dont notice but they can add up.

my tj runs out in sept
will be getting a nrma inspection
cost $199 for members
think it will be a good invesment ;)

TJ's etc up till the End of November came with 3 years/100,000km Warranty whichever occurs first.

From the 1st of December last year every new Mitsubishi comes with 5 years/130,000km whichever ever comes first and 10 years/160,000km On all Powertrain Components (Engine, Gearbox etc)

the 10 year warranty is on available to the original owner and non-transferable unlike the 5 year bumper to bumper

certain models in the TJ/KJ's did, the wrong size windscreen was fitted to the rear, not sure of the front one, but i think some on here have had the front one done, but our KJ had the rear replaced becuase it was slightly smaller (about 5-10mm all round) and it rattled like crazy.... sometimes it didnt, some times it did

door rattling , rear windscreen surrounding rubber (note: if you see paint pealing of ths rubber get it changed. also, dealer will mostly change the whole rear windscreen so you will lose any tinting/stickers on it).

May be an out of warranty check is good idea.
