just out in a set of the EL GUAGES i was ordering some with the club but the missus put up a stink at said no lol put her foot down so i backed out only to find out today she had already bought a set for me lol so here they are.
1st one is a before obviously...but i was thinking of changing the silver back to black what do you think?

nah the way U.S.A guages are set is the MPH on the out side is doubled to get our speed it has 60MPH at top center and ours has 120KMH at the top center if you get what i mean look at the 1st pic then the new guage.

ive got them painted black so i can see them against the guage but i had not finished installing when i took the pics too so not hooked up to head lights just temp wired but will be done properlt tomorrow.

why is it in MPH... i thought it had to be in KPH in australia...

are there different rules for the eastern states... or am i just nuts...

it does say kmp/h in red under the mph but not correct the wat the dash is calebrated in the states is different to ours what u see in mph on these guages just double it and you have our kph and im not worried about what cops think ill just say look there is the kph in red and most wont know anyway her in melb no roadworthies every year only when you buy and sell a car.

nah missus got them behind my back (not complaining) i was going to go woth group buy but she said no not to because she had already got them without me knowing.wireing not hard at all just hook up to a power source and use the switch or do like im about to do now and try and hook up to head light wires im going to try to splice into the dimmer wires so i can turn them up and down.let you know how i go.

wire them into the cig. lighter LED, that way they will turn on with the headlights :)

thats strange u didnt get a dimmer control brett as i did when i got mine, but then again mine were purchused a while ago.

the control i got allows u to adjust brightness and switch the color from blue to green

nope no dimmer .......... colour switch? :rant: not happy now.

I've noticed that the needles don't light up on some of you guys el gauges? Is that normal?

mine dont as i have really crappy blue LED's behind my dash from a previous experiment. But im so used to it now it doesnt bother me at all.
Im not gonna be doing anymore mods to my Magna as I am planning on selling soon. I want more power and rear wheel drive :D

well i got mine in, and i hav it wired in through the cig lighter LED so, they should turn on with the headlights, but they dont...

basically, they hav a touchpad switch, and to turn them on i gotta turn the headlights on then press the switch, this is becoming a pain in the arse, so i tried joinin the wires before the switch and it didnt work for some reason, and also if you press it in to turn it on it turns on but wen u turn off the car and turn it back on again, you have to press the switch again to turn the el guages back on....
my question is does anyone know how i can hav it with out the switch??
is there some sort of switch i can buy or somethin?
