Can anyone tell me how to adjust the rack & pinion to remove play in steering. Or, is there a good web site that shows how to do it.

It is definitely in the R&P as I have had someone rock the wheel and looked for wear in bushes etc and nothing there, all play at the R&P. Play is about 7mm in steering wheel movement, and is damned annoying and makes driving a chore.

hmm its unusualy to have that much play in your steering.. as for how to fix it, well that goes beyond my mechanical expertise. If it was me i would be taking it to my mechanic. Could be a stuffed steering rack but thats worst case scenario
