Guys I have a 2000 TH Advance, I was wanting to get 18" wheels the ones I want are 8", my mate that manages beaurepairs said the 8" wheel may be to large for the magna and make it a ***** to drive.
Can any one help me here with how their wheels it and drive with 18" x 8" or even 7.5"

when you say 18x8 no worries, will your wheels scrape if you were hammering it into a corner? or not at all...

will they scrape at full lock also?

i know for a FACT that mitsi's will fit 19" easy, TZA put 20" on, but i dont know how wide...

I run 18 in mags with 245/40/18 Honkooks and they dont touch the body at full lock or at speed using full suspension travel. The passenger side tyre rubs on the plastic inside the guard at full lock, but its no problem :cool:

A few folk on here run (or have run) 9" wide. Bear in mind that in most states they'll be illegal - 1" wider than standard is usually the law.

how wired, i run 17X8 and on full lock they touch every now and then??? :nuts:

and on another subject ..i took the car to the shops the cars 2nd outing since buying it, AND I HAVE A GOD DAMN DINT IN MY PASSENGER SIDE DOOR AARGGHHHH
can people not get out of a car without banging everything around them...
I am gunna get a quote to get it popped out :| no paint was removed

yes

i run 17x8's and i scrub front left only on certain corners and not all the time bit weird im sure if i pushed the plastic inside wheel well out properly it wouldnt, but doesnt annoy me very much

yeah mate, also same as nissan and toyota. it is the most common patten, pretty much most brands other then holden and bmw

you can go as wide as 8.5" you may even be able to go to 9" but depends on your offset.

I also have 18x8 with no problems. It looks absolutely sick. Doesn't scrape at all. I was told it may not fit, but i persisted :D And the handling is GREAT..

How do 8.5 go. Anyone know?
