use mitsubishi diamond spectrum ATF3 (is reasonably priced)
or an aftermarket fluid to suit Mitsubishi and Hyundai autos

ATF type M is made for the gearboxes too, meets the same standards.

Ahhh, no. It is AFT II, not ATF type M II, you are getting confused with mitsubishi's classing which says MM SP - X
Type M suits automatics specifically the KM175-177 gearboxes used in the magna's. Check for yourself if you dont believe me http://www.gulfwestern.com.au/products.asp?id=57
Amsoil make a synthetic fluid for them aswell, so do penrite, it is called auto mhp. Mitsubishi's stuff has been superceeded now too, called SP3 now.

topped mine up today, really hard to tell the level with those stupid dipsticks. ended up making this long as tube that fits over the small tube from the bottle to get to the filler. lol man its in an inconvenient spot unlike rwd setup.
