okies, well i recently tinited my taillights that all went good and i still had heaps of tinit left in the can i today i decieded to tint my side blinkers poped one out no probs then went to pop the other one out and *crack* the ***in thing that holds it in snapped off and fell inside the hole, and i can get it out so anyways i carried on and tinted them and poped the good one bak in and i had no idea wat todo so i clean the surface and superglued it to the car body and used ,maskin tape to hold it down, a few run came out and i wiped them up,

nowww i removed tha masking tape and the runs that i wiped up left a thin coatin on my car and i dunno wat to get it off wif....any ideas peoples?

oh dear god

i can't believe you used superglue on your car!!!

and the award for the dumbest dumbass iiiiss!!!!! *drumroll*......nah, jokes

sounds like u made one hell of a boobooo. I'd say you could probably try to clean it up.

use a butter knife to remove your blinkers, very easy, as its very thin. you could have at least used silicon or something less potent!1!!!

If it is a film of glue, no idea, but if it has left a cloudy residue, metho. Dip a cotton bud into a pot of metho and wipe away

I am not sure but hardened Glue is very hard to remove without needed to get a re-spray..
It is possible to scratch it off then use touch up paint to cover the scratch marks.. I really cannot see another alternative.. Post up some Photo's so we can see the damage then control the situation..

BE CAREFUL DOING THIS...

Ordinary nail polish remover will get Super-Glue off.

There's other removers besides acetone. I've actually bought a purpose Super Glue remover, mainly because I've stuck myself to myself so many times. (No American Pie jokes. Nothing like that!)
