Just so you know don't say I've seen one called GOZ-00N yes i know Reece has already, and he has sold his apparently now as well.
Cheers Clemo

Ahh i forgot i'm not talkin to a bunch of minitruckers  Sorry guy's. LOL
Bagged means Air suspension you know up and down side to side. Compresors Tanks all that stuff.
Saying baged is just second nature to me didn't think before hand.
Ahhh sweeet, that would be cool as!

Not worth Bagging a Magna, all the extra weight would slow it down..
I have a Freind and we looked into doing a 1993 Rodeo , we got the Mags, Extractors and then sold it to some poor young guy who wanted to go the next step...
Mini Trucks look cool but have to be done correctly and not half Ar$ed..
I have seen some top lowered SR5 Hilux's and some neat Navara's but some Damn aweful ones like a Coureir that was slammed on 18 inch Chromies and Bright Yellow paint and a Cannon Exhaust and it looked Yuck !!

Well i will be baggin it no matter what anyway mate. Im not a hektic street racer so it doesn't matter.
I would of brought a ute and made a minitruck but there are to many around i wanted to be different so i decided to do a full size sedan. (as in not a liberty or accord or civic that are more common to bag)
My idea's for the car are very out landish to the usual things you guy's are interested in.

I'm guesing from seeing people's reactions from this idea. It hasn't really been done that much. Not sure if that's good or bad :D

Who has this kit for 4-5K?? Didn't think there would be demand for a diamante/magna. I can get my kit for $2100 and the kit's are universalso it wouldn't matter.

I did a search ey. GOZ-00N and a blue one that's it.
Yeah i'm getting a few upgrades on mine for free. Plenty of Supplier's in Newcastle but i got an awesome deal so far. Not hard to hook up yourself.
The place's your tlakign about will sell Chasistech stuff. They all do down there, I'm getting the same in mine.
one of the guys at work has just finished bagging his hilux, its a good toy, espeacially when he drops it flat on the chassis rails, but he has no ride quality and crap handling, plus in a magna you will probably lose boot space to mount the air tank and compressors, and you will need an engineers certificate as its not just a simple matter of replacing the coils with bags.

LOL i know what it involves dude. I'm a minitrucker at heart. The ride qualilty is to do with the PSI valves and lines. Bagged vechiles are not new to me. I plan on maintaining a smooth ride which i will do. Most of the time stupid stuff such as Tuck vavles ( those are where you suck the wheel up off the ground) and pety things like that is where you loose qualilty. The magna boot is plenty think about it for trucks most show trucks put there compressor and tank underneath the tray. If i wanted to i could hide my whole system as well but the boot will be fine.

they hide it under the tray by havng a raised section in the tray, so to have it hidden in the magn you will have to cut the floor pan and spare wheel well in the boot, and how are you gonna go about replacing the springs and shocks as they are one unit even at the rear of the magnas, in my mates hilux he went a custom 4 link in the rear and had to fabricate new spring mounts with modified front control arms.

Umm the raised section in the tray is called a Notch. It's purpose is not for thetankor compressor it is because he has had a NOTCH his chasis rails have been cut and made an arch so the axle can tuck up in there. A sedan is a different tale. I don't ned to notch mine it will sit perfectly low already. Don't kid yourself matey. Firstly i wont be having bags they will be struts. Bolt straight in. 4 link? Don't need one since i'm not nothcing it. A 4 links purpose is to stop sideways movement of the axle. The reaosn i'm using four struts instead of two struts and two bags like GOZ-00N is bags take longer to fill then struts and i want everyhting to flow easily not have the front pop up before the back. Bagging a magna is not a hard task mate.

on the note of where to out the tank, depending what size tank you get it would go perfect in the boot between the two towers. this would be the best spot for many reasons
1. you still have ****loads of room in the boot (unless u have subs too haha)
2. it will balance the car better as its sittin directly over the rear suspension

yep that's the plan mate. A compressor and a 6 gallon tank fit perfectly in that space.

Hey man, also a converted minitrucker :D I had a 2000 hilux with a tubbed tray, bags, 18z and alot of chrome. Im too looking at air bags for my 99 3.5L sedan, let me know how you go, how much travel etc. I think i saw somewhere you could get an "air strut" kit for about 2500?? But it would depend on what your aiming for i guess, spark it or park it :P

since when do bags take longer to fill up then struts? lol first i've heard. if you've got decent pressure and your valves aren't shot to s^&% then it isn't an issue. ive priced a bunch of parts and it's definately not gonna be that cheap for a decent setup, 2 tanks, four comps, 8 valves, for decent gear it all adds up dude, and by decent i mean not chassis tech aye. you do need to notch the back, not a c or step notch, but you do need to clear way for the lower arm so it doesn't stop on the inner guard, so notching is definately involved, i think you should talk to blake at killer customs in penrith, or maybe the boys at living low. PM me if you need advice
cheers

Wonder how much difference having a wagon would make to this sorta thing. Harder or easier? Either way I'm sure it'll be more expensive, knowing my luck. lol Bags are in my (somewhat distant) future, just waiting for a fair bit of cash to accumulate. I'm not a street racer, so handling isn't a huge thing. Also, what is the deal with legality in the future, I've heard it's somewhat up in the air. I know there are already regs about self leveling to 100mm, etc.
