well i installed a cai tube a while back anf hav been enjoyin the beasty sound from it now for some reason it dun roar anymore...it just doesnt make the noise anymore sounds like stock, didnt happen wen i was drivin or anythin, i check the pipe and its all clear everythin is fine
any ideas y peoples?

replace it with a K&N panel filter....your induction noise will double if not triple!

dunno about the paper filters, do a search...

probably just blow it out with some compressed air? :confused:

yup ,get compressed air and blast the living *** out of it!
make sure to blow it out from the clean (motor) side FIRST...on the dirty side open up the folds and blast out thourouly(spellong ?:redface: )
if you dont have go to the local grease monkey and he'll more than likely do it for free(provided there not flat out!) :D

or dunk it in some dishwashing liquid and water move up and down through the water and let dry out :P dishwashing liquid is also a very good hand cleaner cheep too :shock:

err...i didn't think water,detergent and paper went well together? :confused:

Neither did i lol, i think he might be referring to cleaning the K&N filter.
But seriously why buy another paper filter when a K&N has a 1.6 million km warranty, so say you get paper filters at $10 each and pick up a K&N for $1-120, change paper filter every what, 1-20k kms? I mean sure you'd have to keep the car for more than 200k kms for it to pay for itself, but when you sell the car you can sell the filter and get probably close to $80 for it :D.
