What part are you talking about? The liner fitted to the boot lid?

Boot Lid part number is MI-MR921178, it is called a "TRIM-TRUNK LID-GREY"

The part number for the clips is MI-MR175122 and they are called "CLIP-TRIM-BLACK" It costs about $80.00 plus GST for the trim itself, and the clips are about $3.50 each, plus GST.

I dont think Verada's or GTVi's necissarily have them. I had a KH it's boot lid wasn't lined and i have a KJ2 and it's not lined either, should they have been? i have always thought this cheapens them a bit.

I got one of these a while ago for the Ralliart with the idea of using it to hide the Dynamat / sound deadning on the inside of the boot lid once I eventually get it done. Not to mention that it just generally looks more tidy.

My purpose is to hide deadening under it. And it looks good too.

Hey sorry to bring back this topic from the dead But does anybody know if this same part number would fit a 04 built TL Magna.

no reason why it shouldn't. Just realised my GTVi AWD does not have it as well. My KS XI had it.
So JO_KING is right. Just go to a wrecker and get it from there. Although wrecked XI's are hard to
come by.

Yeah just rang three mistsi wreckers here in SA and not one of them had one, those that have ahd them in the past have included them when somebody has bought a boot lid. Bugger looks like OEM is the onlt option.

Really? When I bought mine from Knox Mitsu, the guy behind the counter thought it was stupid that it didn't come with any so he ordered them in and gave me them for free.

If you really want to deaden sound get the boot floor liner - its makes a very noticeable difference to the car's noise levels.

(see pic - part #MR925698 - $173.50)

id tuck that away under the carpet then you get looks and sound deadning.

I got a boot floor liner from Clark Rubber a while ago. Way way cheaper that a geniune Mitsu one. It's very thick however you have to cut it to shape. I just whacked it in and put the original carpet liner on top so its hidden as I only bought it for its sound deadening qualities. Makes a huge difference to noise levels.

ahhh but the big advantage off the moulded one is that its spilled liquid proof - the lip on the edge is about 4cm deep so it contains any small floods!

I just got this trunk lid trim from Mitso and the part number MI-MR175122 has been super seeded.
The new part number is
MI-MR923949
the only difference after seeing them side by side is the old P/N has a small cutout on the drivers side for something (Could be a light I'm thinking)
whereas the new one hasn't got the cutout...
sadly they are the same price.... $72.90 + GST - trade price.

Hey Shibbs,
Have a friend at Parra mitso parts and get it trade..... doesn't happen all the time... as he generally doesn't do counter sales any more...

I would have paid that much... it looks way better than what it did and the fit is great

My carpet was lightly glued to the plank covering the spare tyre, but came off pretty easily.
