Instead of fixing my car up (body work, interior etc.. ) i was thinking of looking for a really nice 1st gen (minus engine and gearbox) and just throwing my engine and gearbox in it since my engine is pretty good and i just need a new clutch.

Would this be worth it ? because my car looks ****ty. The paint has faded, its got some dents in it, front end is all bent and this has put me off from doing some mods. (cant see it from new bumper )

So how much would a resonable price be ? Im not sure if i am going to do this, i was just thinking it might be cheaper this way.

May as well look for a good body, with a blown motor. Could easily get it for double digits.

Oh, that'll be easy. My last batch of trying to find a decent motor always had a decent body. There's hardly ever a good motor in a crap body.
