I love the way you've set the amps up, very clean and "schmick" looking. Just noticed how the subs are setup too, you can see Ecli on one subwoofer, and "pse" on the other one, hehe, nice,
nice.

141 db from front loaded subs I find a tad hard to beleive..
if they were rear loaded and fed 800W RMS I may have believed it..
Eclipse are good subs but they are the kind of sub you want to rear load.. Shine a bit of neon on them and BLING!! you have a tasty boot install..
Possible dB output would be low 130's... but there SQ would be pretty good..

yeah, you're one to question that figure too lol
I dunno, you must have been doing pretty good. Fusion do make powerful-bad SQ amps....but 141dB is pretty good. What meter did u measure it with? where was the sensor? what were u playing?

So what did they stick on your Front windscreen ???
It has a very simple name...
What classification were you in ??
So you got 141db, what were you playing to achieve this??
Did you use a Sine Wave or Sine tone ??
How long did it take for you to hit this figure???
I am very intrigued...

i have seen a single eclipse 12 running of a small amp mounted so it fires into the cabin in a wrex pull 136db, ( on the old system tho thats before they introduced the new mic taht has the 3db differace)
I would have gone street B if i was him..

Guys in most proper SPL comps they measure from the windscreen...
But saying that I would be interested to know if this was on a termlab or not and who ran the event.
Poorly calibrated equipment can easily add 10 db. And different meters can greatly effect the score.
>140 in a huge sedan with not that much power is pretty unlikely, although I wont say impossible. How much power do the fusion amps put into ur subs mate?
Peace
Tim
edit: was it one of these? http://www.termpro.com/storefront/prodimg/sensor150w.jpg
If so thats a termlab which doesnt need calibrating, otherwise it may have been on audiocontrol which is a totally different setup.

Tim.. True but for most SPL comps to get a high figure requires carefull measuring and calculating.. Not just chucking a set of subs in an enclosure front loading them then running them on relatively little powered Amps...
I mean I have seen most 15inch subs struggle to get 138db SPL..
I mean for me to get 141.2db SPL from my Two 12's they had to have a hell of a lot of power behind them , Using a signal that was close to the resonant frequency and alot of calculating and alot of luck aswell as having a much smaller vehicle..

larger subs dont necessarily mean louder. Usually larger subs are heavier which means less efficient and less sensitive which means off a small power supply they will not be as loud as their smaller counterparts. (not always the case though)
And who's to say that Kurt hasnt tuned this to perfection.
Kurt, you may want to add some more details of ur score? Who what where when?
I'm pretty sure that this score would be around the 130 db mark max. Depending on box and amp.

I am with you on that one Tim.. 130db would be very possible..

dude stop kidding yourself, just admit you made up some numbers to try and impress the audio guys when really u didnt go in any SPL comp at all as you would know the name of the machine and you could also tell us who ran the comp and the sponsers if you did.
