Hey everyone,

Does anyone know what could be causing the engine in my car to surge? Best way to describe it: Put car into gear, car will pause, clunk into gear, then drive normally. The engine will then surge up to ~4000revs, but the car doesn't speed up, then the gearbox will change and everything is good. This happens in every gear, but gets less noticable as the engine heats up.

Any clues? Transmission computer? ECU? Transmission? Engine? This really puzzles me, and it also makes the car quite difficult to drive...

This is EXACTLY what my transmission was doing up until 2 weeks ago when it went in for a FULL REBUILD. oil condition will not make this go away, most likely youve done exactley whats killed mine. The tranny shop "The center diff pin has started to shear, thus coursingmeatl shards to enter and restrict oil flow from the pump (needs to be replaced) all the cluches, which are now worn and through the torque converter (which also needs to be replaced)"

Sorry dude but a may be the bearer of bad news
