View Full Version : Blaupunkt Remote Wire

Hey all i just got me a new amp a Blaupunkt PA275 i wired it all in to my original wireing i had running for my old amp but was quickly stopped when i noticed the amp has no remote wire.
i tried with out and youd never guess.......... it doesnt turn on.
Any one have a simliar setup and know how to fix this problem?

do u mean the remote wire doesn't give out 12V when its on? sure u have the right wire?
if it doesn't u can wire it up to your ciggie lighter, or something a rig a switch up to it :confused:

The amp has no socket to run a remote cable to.
it only has main, earth, rca's, speakers, and a gain controler.

iv got a blaupunkt amp and they have remote wires so look harder,
post a pic up of all 4 sides, the top and the bottom and we will find it for ya

Im not stupid when i comes to amps but i know this has no remote cable.

maybe it magically turns on when it detects signals coming thru the RCAs :bowrofl:
notice how there are 5 pins on the speaker wire bit? bit weird 2ch amp having 5 speaker outputs isn't it? Its like an atom...electrons, protons and neutrons. The 5th hole is for Neutrons :cool:
there is a pic where there are two circles with a line coming out of one dot? thats your remote wire...

P.s> does any one know if this amp could power to pioneer 12" subs, not sure the model number but they are really comon and have a te carbon fibre looking front.

i think this thing puts out a fair bit of power considering its small size, and blingy looks. yeah, you can power that sub :)

damn u eeky u beat me to it, oh well problem solved, it was my solution of posting pics in part that led to the solution so ill claim some credit.... :)

Blaupunkt Digital amp by the looks of it... yeah, they are a mongrel to wire up but are worth it.. Not sure if they can justify the cost as I would much prefer a cheaper more powerfull analogue amp for the price they ask for but digital is supposed to be better..

i don;t that that one is a d-class amp....most likely A/B. Digital is good...nobody wants or cares if its pure A tim :P
