Thats what i was getting.

If i applied alot of pressure to the loud pedal it would drop to around 350km/tank around town.

i cant belive they are this heavy on the fuel, I have driven it like a grandma around town and get 13 :(

and to top things off a clip that holds the windscreen wiper on brok and i nearlt lost the wiper :| dunno if its under warranty :( then this morning the cvar would not lock with the remote it beeped at me like the door was open but the boot and all doors were closed, lights were off and it was in gear :( .. I thought getting a "sensible" car was the right thing.. maybe I shoulda just got my GTR now ...will keep you all updated

Mines sitting on 10.7/100 and I give it stick quite frequently. Most of my driving is long distancy stuff, not stop start though.

My TH 3.5 auto normally does 10.5 with my normal driving (mostly town driving (not city)) although it's slipped to 11.5 recently. Equates to a 640Km range per tank.

That doesn't sound right at all. Might wanna check your O2 sensor or something.

I give my car a lot of stick and it sits around 12.5L/100km constantly.

By manually calculating your distance and litres used.

after resetting my trip computer the true reading is coming out on my VR-X, i have the auto trannie and i'm getting 550km to a tank around town using premium and when i hit the highway and get the ulitmate in her she'll get 700kms to a tank sitting on 120km/h, i drive quite hard so it seems strange your getting only 400 to a tank, anything more than 13L/100kms you have troubles i'm sitting on 12.5l/100kms.

Reason I asked is that sometimes the trip computer isn't very accurate.

The easiest reliable reading is by resetting the trip meter (not the one on the trip computer) when you completely fill up the tank and then work its way to empty then record the trip distance.

If you still want to use your trip computer to measure this, then do a reset on the trip computer as well when you fill up. I think you hold down the Up and Down buttons at the same time for a couple of seconds, I can't remember.

In the TL's you just hold down the Mode button for 2 secs after it has completed initialising.

That's for all models. Holding down the up and down buttons together resets the speed alert.

8.5 km per litre, or about 11.76L/100km. that economy is a result from gentle driving (and an occasional fang! :D ).

Ouch i pull more then that out of my TE with half a tank on reg on a bad week.

When did you get the car serviced last. Might be a good idea to check your air filter and fuel filter etc. Hope this helps.

I agree with stevesta, the Tj 3.5 exec with xforce exhaust was getting btn 15 and 18l /100kms depending how hard I drove it. usually i only drive one of two ways though, full accelerator or full brake.
