hey ya all i just put some stuff on lay by at JB and the guy told me i should look at "sound deadning" my car.??? he said that pannels and stuff can fall off. does ne 1 know what sound deadning is and if so how do you do it?????

yeah you should get some
the best stuff is called dynamat, but costs a **** load. about 150 for the door kit (2 front doors with a bit left over)
best way to use it is to heat it up with a blow dryer so it becomes easy to mold to the door.
use the search function to see other threads on how to do it

Actually.. Door kit= $129, Boot Kit= $199, Speaker dissfusser pads= $49 pair... + $10 freight.. just bought these from my local Autobarn.. they're the RRPs.. I think. Apparently its good stuff.

I used Stinger Roadkill Noise Sound Deadener (I dunno the actual name, but it's by Stinger)..anyways, it's fantastic, doesn't look great but I've done a lot of work on the bootlid (which I will eventually cover with carpet, no more rattles. I've got to get around to doing the doors and what not later, but it's pretty expensive.

Ur panels wont fall off, but will resonate/rattle causing ur audio to sound crap at high volumes.
Heres some pics of my doors deadened with Stinger Expert roadkill... Works a treat
