Hey, planning on heading over to WOW Sound and Sight either tonight or tomorrow, want to know exactly what head unit I should be looking for. I don't want to wreck my current cables or speakers (all stock), and not sure what DIN size to get.
Could you guys just give me a basic run down of what a good head unit is for a magna, in terms of power output, size, and ease of installation.
Any help appreciated.

Executive has the Tape deck or Single CD ??
Single Din indash Radio of the Month at the moment would be the JVC KDG615.. MP3 fully optioned deck at the Bargain price of $299..
Get a OEM wiring loom and it will be easy to install..

The deck mentioned above JVC 615 can be got at less than $200 (Buy it now at $215) - also check the model number - I am not sure if it is KDG or KGD.
Other nice mp3 playing options are:
Clarion 746 / 846 / 946 - old model so you may get sellout specials.
I got a Clarion dxz946 for $500 - I know you can get a Clarion dxz846 for $400 - all much less than the original releas prices. The Clarion's IMO look nicer and feel nicer than JVC and generally are more expensive to.
Didn't like the look and feel of the Pioneers but they seem to have good specifications for the price too.

Problem is, I don't even know what an OEM wiring loom is.
What I need help with is, what DIN size should I look for (stock standard tape deck in an 97 TF Exec). What power output in watts (ie. is 200W too much, or too little for stock system). And I want a HU that will be easy to install, nothing about wiring looms and the like. I want to be able to just pull apart the dash, unplug existing HU and install new one.
Any help?

Yes Single Din..
OEM wiring loom can be bought through Aerpro, all you do is plug it in where the Old Factory Clip is that is attached to your headunit, match the Wires up according to colorto your new head unit and bingo set to go..
Stock speakers are 15W... Any aftermarket Head deck will be more powerfull then these can handle , so as long as you keep the volume down and the bass off a little they should last a while.. Budget to replace the Speakers as a Next step.
Any headunit, for example the JVC KDG615 will give you a far superior sound over the standard Cassette deck...
As for Being $215, I am not sure as I would say that would most likely be the JVC KDG 515 the Non MP3 version..
