I have a ralliart 02 done 29000klms and recently i there has been a weird humming or rattling noise in the mornings and afternoons coming to and from work. I start the car up and its fine, reverse the car its fine but as soon as you put it in drive the rattling noise happens around the 1000rpm range :confused: . However as soon as the engine is warm the noise stops.

Has anyone experienced this problem before, as i havent and dont wont to look stupid if i was to take it to the mechanic.

have a good listen to see where the noise is coming from it could just be a loose exhaust bracket or something similar

just turn the music up u wont hear a thing thats what i do when that kind of stuff happens

Could be a loose heat shield rattling on the exhaust or possibly a cover on the back of the discs.

get your heat sheilds and cat checked
