Howdy all,

Got these wheels yesterday, pretty happy with the result. They are 16inch ROH (somethings), used to belong to a guy on here known as Mercury.

Next mods are lowering + tint. Then we will replace the rear muffler with some twin chrome tips, debadge and maybe some handling mods..

Going to replace the discs on the front with some slotted dba's aswell.

Looks nice man :) If you can find some twin pot callipers from a wrecker from any 2nd gen that had ABS, grab them, the calliper brackets and then fit them up as they'll bolt on.

Just get some pads for them and couple them with the slotted rotors and the braking is truly awesome. The only thing you'll have to do is get new rubber lines (or if you can get them off the wreck that'd be excellent) as the connection on the calliper for the twins is different to the singles.

Other than that she's a direct bolt on job. And well worth it.

At least with the 2nd gen i can tinker with it a bit more.

yeah dude looks the goods, the tr/ts suit the jap sort of racer theme (what i consider mine and that to look like) look for a verada rear and front bar, some parabolics and ts verada grill, looks sexy

holy crap for 16"s how nice do they look (the black rin + black tyre combo probably give the illusion of a bigger wheel)......i was planning on getting 18"s but gee the 16"s dont look to bad!

Oldest trick inthe book to make it look like you have bigger wheels is black rims.

Not that it's a bad thing, works well.. and looks good too.

Personally I love black rims and plan on getting some but I like the outer trim to be polished chrome. Looks nuts.

should paint the bottom of the bumpers and all the mouldings Black to suit the wheels, that'd look pretty cool i reckon.

Yeah i thought i that.. Going to colour code (ie wrecker hunt) front and rear bumpers. Then look at doing something along the side..

Not going to spend a whole lot on the car, but enough to make it look clean and smooth.

u can get a touch up guy to colour ur bumpers, thats how i got my front one painted and fixed, although it would've been cheaper if i didnt hav any damage on my bumper

*feels that pocket is lighter *

Definitely get a TS boot garnish aswell cos the TR one is grey and ugly. Either that or the KS Verada one. They are pretty good too.

I believe they were an option on all of them. Your best bet would be to look for verada's.

Hmmm just happens I have a set here :D

I was the first to give this a go and it is a truly worthwhile mod, the calipers came on all TR/S KR/S with ABS.

Is it a 4 or 6, if a 4 you will need a tweak of the backing plate, nothing big. You are also better off using the v6 lower control arms if you want to improve handling, have done this b4 and they are straight bolt on as well. The v6 front sway bar is also thicker.

The rear garnish of the Verada is the same as the KR XI, you will need the entire boot lid or be prepared to cut holes in yours to allow for the globe holders which although not used in Aus mine are in use.
