I am looking at a unichip and saw a Mark from Dynomotive in Bayswater VIC who said he has had several guys with magna's go to his shop and have mods like this done.

Can anyone relay there experiences with this work shop, experiences with the unichip and if the power gains where worth it.

Reason I am asking is I have a 3lt 99 th auto which I have done the brakes and suspension and a 2.5inch system fomr the cat back but am looking at some basic engine upgrades without cams or the motor being disassembled.

I was thinking RPW extractors, oversized throttle body, K & N filter to the original air intake and a new manifold with a retuned ECU.

with those mods you'll get some pretty nice gains, maybe 25kw atw all up the chip will utilise the other mods

Get the Unichip, best thing you will ever do. I know from experience and its on the top of my list for any future mods to any future cars.

I had a unichip on my old TE with extractors/exhaust, pod/CAI and T/B. It was a manual and ended up with 132kW ATW. Unichip gained 12kW, they are a good thing. If I had my choice again though I would look at the Haltech piggyback just so I could run multiple maps for different fuels but if that isnt an issue then go the unichip.
